Jacques Lowe is an internationally renowned photographer and photojournalist who is best known for his portraiture of the leading personalities of our time, nationally and internationally, in politics, business, and the entertainment world. More specifically, Lowe was the Kennedy’s personal photographer. Lowe is most recognized for The Camelot Collection, which focuses on the Kennedys.
This site features archival quality prints from The Camelot Collection. Except where indicated, each print is signed and numbered, and carefully matted and framed. This collection is currently on display at Gallery 57 in Pawleys Island, SC.
Although each print is numbered as 28 in a series of 75, it is believed that Lowe only managed to print 40 before his death in May of 2001.
These are the last prints which will ever be available in this series. All of the negatives from this series were stored in a vault at the World Trade Center, and were destroyed in the September 11th attack.
Each piece is priced individually, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Insured shipping will be calculated at the time of purchase.
Please be aware that these are NOT the cheap press-to-paper poster reproductions available at such places as art.com. The imitations you buy there will never be worth any more than the cheap paper they are printed on. These are actual photographic prints made by the master himself, and will only increase in value as time passes. These are wonderful investments.
