When Jacques first met Senator and Mrs. Kennedy, their house on N Street in Georgetown was the center of Jackie's life, where she would entertain, send out letters on distinctive blue note paper and spend a great deal of time with her daughter Caroline, then two years old. Here they are in the nursery of their home.
